About Me
My name is Matthew Hanley, and I am a Senior from Forsyth Central High School. I am an honors student who loves to read and write, especially when the two activities involve something I am interested in. I play around with cars and race in my free time - if I'm not doing that, I'm usually found outside, either hiking or skating.
Over the course of my Senior year, I have been attending an internship at Forsyth's leading news outlet, Forsyth County News, where I serve underneath my volunteer mentors, Mr. Vince Johnson and Ms. Kayla Robins. There, I have nurtured my passion for the field and gathered the necessary experience to help me grow as a writer.
I will be attending Kennesaw State University during the Fall 2017 semester to begin pursuing a degree in journalism.
